  3. This file contains general information concerning the installation and
  4. use of Name That State for Windows.
  5.  
  6. 1. Installing NTS
  7.  
  8.     Name That State requires that you use the provided "Setupnts.exe"
  9.     program for it to be properly installed. The setup program DOES NOT
  10.     modify your Windows.ini, System.ini, Config.sys, or Autoexec.bat files.
  11.     Setupnts copies only the necessary files and places them in the selected
  12.     directory.
  13.  
  14.     To install the program from within Windows 3.1 or Windows NT
  15.  
  16.       A. Make your Windows Shell (Program Manager for most users) the
  17.          active window.
  18.       B. From the menu select "File"
  19.       C. Select "Run"
  20.       D. Enter "x:\y\setupnts.exe"
  21.          (Where x = the disk and y = the directory where the program is located)
  22.       E. Click the OK Button
  23.       F. Follow instructions on the Screen.

  25.     To install the program from within Windows 95
  26.  
  27.       A. From your windows shell select "START"
  28.       B. Select "RUN"
  29.       C. Enter "x:\y\setupnts.exe"
  30.          (Where x = the disk and y = the directory where the program is located)
  31.       D. Click the OK Button
  32.       E. Follow instructions on the Screen.

  36. 2. Uninstalling NTS
  37.  
  38.     NTS does not use any files other than those installed in its' own
  39.     directory and its' own INI file. To uninstall the program:

  41.     To uninstall NTS from Windows 3.1 or Windows NT

  43.       A.  If you installed NTS to its' own directory: delete that directory and all
  44.           of the files in it.

  48.       B.  If you installed NTS into a directory with other files in it: delete the
  49.           files listed in "3. Distribution Files".

  51.       C.  Delete the program manager group if it was created or delete the
  52.           icons if other programs are in the group.

  55.     To uninstall NTS from Windows 3.1 or Windows NT
  56.  
  57.      A. Click the "Start"
  58.      B. Click "Settings"
  59.      C. Click "Control Panel"
  60.      D. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
  61.      E. Click on "Name That State"
  62.      F. Click on "Add/Remove"
  63.      G. Click on "Automatic"
